As Field Manager, Sunetra ensures that a qualitative research project runs smoothly from conception to fruition. Whether it’s writing screeners, managing recruiters, or balancing expectations, Sunetra applies her problem solving skills and attention to detail to anticipate the needs of others and keep all the moving pieces organized. What she enjoys most about her job is the recruiting phase where she gets to learn about people from all walks of life.
Sunetra comes to Kelton with many years of field management and planning experience, most recently on a freelance basis and prior to that at Portico Research, an ethnographic research company. She also helped start and build Black Raspberry Consumer Insights, a market research company focusing on the African American consumer market, where she was their field director and director of operations. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Sociology.
When she’s not recruiting for a research study, Sunetra can be found creating abstract ceramic forms and finishing them in a traditional Japanese wood fire kiln. She enjoys cooking meals and crafting cocktails for her friends and family. Sunetra also maintains her status as personal concierge to friends and family by staying current on the best things to do, see, drink, and eat in New York City and beyond.
