Laura Dusek, Director
Laura joined Kelton in 2011 as a Director of Research and Strategy. She has extensive experience managing multi-method research projects. She is an expert in trend assessment and analysis, specifically trends related to health and wellness, sustainability, weight management, and aging.
With 6+ years of client-side experience, Laura brings an understanding of client priorities and perspective to Kelton. She previously served in Consumer Insights at General Mills, where she worked on a leading brands including Yoplait, Big G Cereals, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Small Planet Foods, and Progresso. Having worked within the consumer packaged goods industry for 6+ years, Laura possesses a broad and deep understanding of all facets of marketing and sales.
Laura holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Sociology from the University of Saint Thomas and a Master’s degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University, where she studied qualitative methods, statistics, and mass media
When she is not helping her clients turn consumer insights into actionable business strategies, she enjoys running, road biking, yoga, and all things related to food and wine. For the past two years, Laura has served as Chair of the Minneapolis chapter of Share Our Strength, a national non-profit organization committed to ending childhood hunger in the United States. ![]()
