Gareth Schweitzer, President and Founder
For founding partner Gareth Schweitzer, separating fluff from fact is a specialty honed as a former political journalist (one of the youngest members of the White House Correspondents’ Association) and embedded reporter in Iraq. The interviewing and communications skills vital to good journalism translate well to research; since making the switch five years ago, Gareth has moderated literally hundreds of focus groups and helped corporations and non-profits alike understand what truly motivates their target audiences.
Gareth got the story then and he gets it now, using his well-honed research skills to extract the ideas and insights that matter, whether he’s working in new product development, ad testing, or communications and messaging research. As a journalist, Gareth enjoyed outwitting senior pundits on national television and offering daily reports on local and nationally syndicated radio, Fox News Channel and CNN.
Gareth was born in India, grew up in London and Washington, DC, lived for a year in Chile and received his Bachelor's in political science at McGill University in Montreal. When not dreaming of his next market research poll, he enjoys playing basketball, watching sports and reading political books. ![]()
