Courtney Clark, VP Research and Strategy
Courtney Clark joins Kelton with over a decade of experience in both media and market research, leveraging the communication skills honed in both fields to help clients develop a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the marketplace and customers. From focus groups to in-depth interviews and message testing, Courtney has helped develop strategy for some of the world’s most high-profile politicians, companies, and organizations - from Fortune 500 corporations to presidential campaigns and international non-profits.
Which beer is best? Do you really turn out the lights when you leave a room? How has your family’s financial situation changed since the economic downturn? How should the U.S. handle foreign policy in the Middle East? Courtney’s research has helped clients answer questions on topics ranging from green energy adoption to air travel habits, movie trailer viewing to shopping behaviors, diet program selection to fast food usage, smartphone preferences to insurance purchases, and current events awareness to crisis management.
Prior to Kelton, Courtney served as Senior Consultant at Penn Schoen Berland, specializing in qualitative research with additional quantitative expertise. Courtney’s career began at NBC News, where she worked as an Emmy Award-winning producer and writer. Her work has appeared on newscasts including NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, The Today Show, and The News with Brian Williams on MSNBC/CNBC.
Ms. Clark is a graduate of Swarthmore College. She is based in New York City, where she can be found running and biking in Central Park – and conducting impromptu focus groups on subway cars, in bars and restaurants, and while waiting in line at TKTS to purchase theater tickets. ![]()
