Newly released survey results say U.S. Millennials are open to incorporating wearable technology in their lives, with one in four even showing willingness to wear such devices during sex.

When it comes to dating and mating, 12 percent of men and nine percent of women said they would use wearable technology if it made them look more attractive to the opposite sex.

If using wearables could make them appear smarter, 12 percent of men and eight percent of women said they would do so.

As for the general, social acceptability of wearable trackers, 16 percent of men said it was important to them that the device be acceptable, while only nine percent of women responded the same way.

Nine percent of respondents said they would wear a Google Glass headset on the first date.

Conducted over the Internet, the survey involved 1,007 U.S. respondents in the “Millennial” generation, which is classified in this case as representing individuals born between 1977 and 1995.

The research is a joint effort between the Center for Generational Kinetics and Wearables.com.
