Millennials: who are they and why should we care?
Sheer numbers, for one. Millennials, the children of Baby Boomers, comprise more than 80 million Americans born between the years 1980 and 2000. And according to Joel Stein, author of the controversial TIME article ‘The Me Me Me Generation’, Millennials represent the single biggest age grouping in American history. He also argues that Millennials are the “most threatening and exciting generation since the baby boomers brought about social revolution.”
